Terms of Service

Last updated: September 11, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Gools mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by UAB Good Boy Labs ("Good Boy Labs", "we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using Gools, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. About Gools

Gools is a productivity application that uses artificial intelligence to transform user-provided goals into actionable checklists.

Gools is designed as a general productivity and planning tool. The Service does not provide professional advice.

The AI-generated content provided by Gools is generated automatically and may contain errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or suggestions that are unsuitable for your particular circumstances.

You are responsible for deciding whether any suggested action is appropriate for you.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Gools.

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into these Terms.

Gools is not intended for persons under 18.

If you are under 18, you may not create an account, purchase a subscription, or use the Service.

3. Your Account

Certain features of Gools require you to create an account.

You may create an account using Sign in with Apple.

You are responsible for:

  • providing accurate information when required;

  • maintaining the security of your account;

  • keeping your authentication credentials secure; and

  • all activity occurring through your account.

You must not share your account with another person or allow another person to use your account to access the Service.

We may suspend or terminate an account if we reasonably believe that it has been used in violation of these Terms, applicable law, or the security of the Service.

4. Guest Use

Gools may allow you to generate and view a checklist without creating an account.

Guest-generated content may not be permanently saved or available after leaving the relevant session.

To save and access checklist information across sessions, you may be required to create an account.

5. Subscriptions and Free Trials

Some features of Gools require a paid subscription.

Subscription prices, billing periods, and any applicable trial offers are displayed in the application before purchase.

At launch, Gools may offer monthly and annual subscription plans and may offer a limited free trial.

Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, the duration and conditions of the trial will be displayed at the time you subscribe.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, when a free trial ends, the subscription will automatically renew as a paid subscription unless you cancel it before the trial ends.

You will not receive a refund for unused trial time or unused subscription time except where required by applicable law or Apple's applicable refund policies.

Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each subscription period unless you cancel the subscription sufficiently before the renewal date.

Your Apple account will be charged for the renewal in accordance with Apple's applicable subscription terms.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple account's subscription settings.

Deleting the Gools application or your Gools account does not necessarily cancel your Apple subscription.

You are responsible for cancelling your subscription through Apple if you no longer wish to be charged.

6. Payments and Refunds

Payments for Gools subscriptions are processed by Apple through Apple's App Store and In-App Purchase system.

We do not directly process your payment-card information.

Refunds for purchases made through Apple's App Store are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's applicable policies and procedures.

If you believe you are entitled to a refund, you should submit your refund request through Apple's available refund process.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable law.

7. Changes to Subscription Pricing

We may change subscription prices from time to time.

Where required by applicable law or Apple's policies, we will provide appropriate notice of price changes.

Changes to pricing will not retroactively alter charges that have already been completed.

8. AI-Generated Content

Gools uses artificial intelligence to generate checklists and related content based on information you provide.

AI content is not guaranteed to be accurate

AI-generated content can be incorrect, incomplete, outdated, misleading, or unsuitable for your circumstances.

You should independently evaluate any checklist or suggestion before acting on it.

The fact that Gools generates a particular recommendation does not mean that Good Boy Labs endorses or guarantees that recommendation.

Not professional advice

Gools is not a substitute for professional advice.

The Service does not provide:

  • medical advice;

  • mental-health or psychological advice;

  • legal advice;

  • financial or investment advice;

  • tax advice;

  • professional safety advice; or

  • any other professional advice.

If your goal involves a matter requiring professional expertise, you should consult an appropriately qualified professional.

Emergencies and high-risk situations

Gools is not an emergency service.

Do not use Gools as a substitute for emergency services, medical care, professional intervention, or other appropriate assistance in an emergency or high-risk situation.

You are responsible for determining whether a suggested action is safe and appropriate.

9. User Content

You may provide information to Gools, including descriptions of your goals ("User Content").

You retain ownership of the User Content that you provide to Gools, subject to the rights necessary for us to operate the Service.

By submitting User Content, you grant Good Boy Labs a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, reproduce, transmit, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to:

  • provide the Service;

  • generate AI-powered checklists;

  • store and display your checklists;

  • maintain and secure the Service;

  • troubleshoot technical issues; and

  • improve and develop the Service, where permitted by applicable law.

This license ends when your User Content is deleted, except to the extent that retention is reasonably necessary for legitimate technical, legal, security, or backup purposes.

We do not sell your User Content.

We do not use your goal text for advertising.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Gools only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not use the Service to:

  • engage in or facilitate illegal activity;

  • intentionally harm yourself or another person;

  • threaten, harass, abuse, or exploit another person;

  • commit fraud or facilitate fraudulent activity;

  • distribute malware, viruses, or other malicious code;

  • interfere with or disrupt the Service;

  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;

  • circumvent subscription, authentication, or access controls;

  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;

  • scrape, copy, or systematically extract data from the Service without our permission;

  • use the Service to develop or provide a competing service through unauthorized automated access; or

  • use the Service in any manner that violates applicable law.

We may take reasonable measures to prevent or address misuse of the Service.

11. Prohibited High-Risk Uses

Because Gools generates automated content, you must not rely on the Service as the sole basis for decisions involving significant risks to health, safety, finances, legal rights, or the rights of another person.

You remain responsible for verifying information and obtaining appropriate professional advice where necessary.

12. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, user interface, branding, trademarks, logos, text, graphics, and other materials provided by Good Boy Labs, is owned by or licensed to Good Boy Labs and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or otherwise exploit the Service or its proprietary materials.

Gools and related branding are trademarks or identifiers associated with Good Boy Labs. You may not use our trademarks or branding without our prior written permission.

Your use of Gools does not transfer ownership of the Service or our intellectual property to you.

13. AI-Generated Output and Ownership

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may use the checklist and other output generated for you by Gools for your personal purposes.

Because AI-generated content may not qualify for intellectual-property protection in the same way as human-created content, we do not guarantee that any particular AI-generated output is protected by copyright or that you have exclusive rights to it.

The same or substantially similar output may be generated for other users.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of generated content complies with applicable law and does not infringe the rights of others.

14. Third-Party Services

Gools relies on third-party services and infrastructure, including services provided by Apple, Supabase, OpenAI, RevenueCat, PostHog, and Sentry.

Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, and requirements.

We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or content of third-party services outside our reasonable control.

Your use of Apple's services, including Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases, is also subject to Apple's applicable terms and policies.

15. Availability of the Service

We aim to keep Gools available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the Service will:

  • always be available;

  • operate without interruption;

  • be completely secure;

  • be free from bugs or errors; or

  • always produce accurate or useful AI-generated content.

The Service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, third-party service interruptions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time.

Where appropriate, we will take reasonable steps to communicate material changes to the Service.

16. Beta Features and Changes

We may introduce, modify, or remove features from Gools.

Some features may be experimental, beta, or otherwise provided for testing.

We may change the functionality, design, pricing, availability, or technical implementation of the Service as we develop Gools.

Such changes do not affect rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gools is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We make no warranties or representations that:

  • the Service will meet your particular requirements;

  • the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free;

  • AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, reliable, or suitable for your circumstances;

  • the Service will produce a particular result;

  • the Service will be available at all times; or

  • defects will always be corrected.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty or consumer protection right that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Good Boy Labs and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of, or inability to use, Gools.

This includes, without limitation, loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:

  1. the amount you paid to Good Boy Labs for Gools during the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or

  2. €100.

This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including liability that applicable law requires us to accept.

Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory statutory consumer rights.

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Good Boy Labs and its officers, directors, employees, and contractors from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • your violation of these Terms;

  • your unlawful use of the Service;

  • your User Content where it violates these Terms or applicable law; or

  • your infringement of another person's rights.

This section does not require you to indemnify Good Boy Labs to the extent that applicable law prohibits such an obligation.

20. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Gools at any time.

You may delete your Gools account through the account-deletion functionality provided in the application.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Gools if we reasonably believe that:

  • you have materially violated these Terms;

  • you have used the Service unlawfully;

  • your use presents a security or operational risk;

  • you have attempted to circumvent payment or access controls; or

  • suspension or termination is necessary to comply with applicable law.

Where reasonably practicable and appropriate, we will provide notice before terminating access.

Termination does not affect provisions that by their nature should continue after termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute-related provisions.

Termination of your Gools account does not automatically cancel subscriptions purchased through Apple's App Store.

21. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or replace any mandatory rights or protections that apply to you under the laws of your country or place of residence.

If applicable consumer-protection law gives you rights that conflict with these Terms, those mandatory rights will apply.

22. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

However, if you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of protections provided by mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply in your country of residence.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from bringing a claim before a court that has mandatory jurisdiction under applicable consumer-protection law.

23. Dispute Resolution

We encourage you to contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve any dispute informally.

You can contact us at:

privacy@gools.app

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be brought before a competent court in accordance with applicable law.

For consumers, this includes any mandatory rights to bring proceedings before the courts available under the laws applicable to their place of residence.

24. Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded Gools through Apple's App Store, you acknowledge that:

  • these Terms are between you and UAB Good Boy Labs, not Apple;

  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for Gools;

  • Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to Gools;

  • Apple is not responsible for investigating, defending, settling, or discharging claims that Gools or your use of Gools infringes third-party intellectual-property rights;

  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary; and

  • your use of Gools must comply with Apple's applicable App Store Terms and Conditions.

Apple has no responsibility or liability for Gools or its content beyond the obligations imposed on Apple under applicable law.
